Mechanical(Automobile) Engineering Department of Bongaigaon Polytechnic, Bongaigaon is under SCTE (State Council for Technical Education), DTE (Directorate of Technical Education), Govt. of Assam.

Vision of the Department

To excel in producing quality diploma Mechanical Engineers with specialization in Automobile Engineering to meet the needs of Industry and Society

Mission of the Department

M1 :     To impart technical knowledge and skill in the areas of Automobile Engineering and allied field through effective             

             teaching-learning in collaboration with industry.

M2:      To provide hands on training in service and repair of automobiles using latest diagnostic tools and equipment.

M3 :     To promote entrepreneurship by providing technical support and guidance.

M4:      To encourage students for higher studies and make them conscious of ethical values of engineering practice through

            mentoring.
