About Department of Science Humanities

The Department of Science and Humanities combination of teaching faculties from-

• Chemistry
• Physics
• Mathematics
• English
• Commerce (Accountancy & Management)
• Economics disciplines.

All the disciplines in the department exist as a separate division and maintain individual identity. The department regularly organizes workshops, symposia and conferences in new emerging areas for the benefit of the students. The Humanities department offering projects on life skill, courses on personality development, Entrepreneurship Development Course in association with IIE Guwahati, DIC, NITCO for OUTCOME BASED EDUCATION and VALUE BASED EDUCATION. The department also supervise student’s activities (sports & cultural, literary) with an aimed to attract students for diploma engineers from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. The department is committed to provide quality instruction that empowers students to become confident in facing personal and professional life challenges. Apart from this the department supervise projects useful and beneficial for the people of nearby villages.
